Why
Remain Faithful?
Revelation 2:10Many in the religious world believe that
a person cannot lose their salvation. So there is no real reason to remain
faithful to God. But salvation is conditional. We can lose it! Note the

When Life Gets Overwhelming
During our journey here on
earth, times may become hard and discouraging. While these days are
inevitable, we should not lose hope but look to God's word for hope.
The Psalms in particular can lift us up when life becomes
overwhelming. |

Triumph Life
is full of unexpected troubles—some painful, some embarrassing, some
overwhelming. But God has not left us without help. Through humor,
scripture, and real-world examples, we’ll explore how a positive attitude,
daily focus, and trusting God can help us not just survive, but triumph over
the problems life throws at us. |

Triumph Part 2
Last time, we talked about maintaining a positive attitude
and living one day at a time as ways to triumph over life’s problems. Today,
we’ll examine additional ways that God uses our struggles for good. It's
important to recognize that sometimes, problems are within God's will for
our lives. There is hardly a godly figure in Scripture who didn’t face
difficulties. To triumph over our problems, we must learn to find the value
in them. |

Are
You Distracted Distractions
are everywhere, but some are more dangerous than others. While a moment of
distraction on the road can cost a life, spiritual distractions can cost a
soul. This lesson explores the danger of misplaced priorities and how we can
refocus our hearts on the one thing that truly matters—Jesus. |

When
Tough Times Come You and I will face difficult
circumstances in our lives. Regardless of how hard we may try to avoid
them, those trying rimes will eventually find us. (2 Timothy 3:1 - But
know this, that in the last days perilous times will come) What should
we do when that happens? |

God
Has Not Forgotten You As
Christians, we often are frustrated when God doesn't answer our prayers
according to our timeline. We think God is forgotten us when we go to him
with our sincere requests or we hear nothing. No answer period no response
whatsoever. At least not right away. So what do we do? We listened to the
words of Psalm 13 |

Don't Give Up
Temptation – Each of us has been tempted before. It
can come in many forms and wear many faces. But how do we keep from
giving in to temptation? A great example is that of Joseph in the
Old Testament. Satan found that he could not overcome Joseph with
troubles from the world, so he tried to entice him with sensual
pleasures. This story reveals four principles to keep in mind when
we are tempted. |

What It Means To
Remain Faithful Revelation
2:10...Those
were the words of Jesus as recorded by John, the last living Apostle
of Christ on earth. He was writing to a severely persecuted
group of Christians in the city of Smyrna which in the first century
was a city in Asia Minor. If you were to look on the map and
try and pinpoint Smyrna, you would want to look for Izmir in the
country of Turkey just east of the
gulf of Izmir. It reaches about 40 miles inland and in the
first century was ideally located as a distribution point for a
large portion of the region. |

Keep Your
Eyes On God
King David put descendants of Levi in change of the musical worship
before the ark in Jerusalem and the tabernacle in Gibeon. Later on it
would also be in the temple. (I Chronicles 6:16, 31-33a, 25:1, 7-8) The
psalm we will focus on (Psalm 73) is one of David’s. Note from I
Chronicles 25:1 that he prophesied through the songs. He was guided by
the Spirit of God. He was God’s spokesman. (I Chronicles 25:3b)
