"Having predestinated us"

God's entire purpose for creation was to make eternal life possible for man.  Every single mote of dust, every single galaxy, every single star, every animal that was ever created was toward that purpose.  This grand plan was etched in better than stone ere it ever began.  Stone is temporary.  God's plan is everlasting.  We were predestinated to have the opportunity that now lies before us.  We have the freedom to either accept this wondrous gift or to reject it.  No man is without excuse, (Rom 1:20), no man can escape it, (Heb 2:3).  What God has set in motion will be finished in the fullness of time, (Eph 1:10).
