1 Corinthians 13:9
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

Comments:

We KNOW in part and PROPHECY in part refers to two miraculous gifts: inspiration and prophecy. During the first century, God revealed His word to those who had inspiration in small pieces (or in part) as they were ready to handle it and had need for it.

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
